What to Bring

• Work boots
• Work gloves
• Safety glasses
• 4 sets of lightweight long-leg and long-sleeve work clothes
• Jeans, t-shirts, a sweatshirt, modest shorts (the weather could be hot or cold, so plan on –dressing in layers)
• PJs
• Bandanas or Sweat Rags
• Toiletries (don’t forget the deodorant!)
• Camera
• Cell phone and charger
• Bug Spray
• Sunscreen
• Card Games/Books (for down times in the evenings)
• Bible and Notebook
• Money for souvenirs or eating out
• If you’re under 18, please bring a release form (linked to Katrina Volunteers minors under the age of 18.doc on the “Download Files” on the current website) signed by your parents
• Bring a flexible, positive attitude. We might need to ask you to do something that you do not want to do – for the good of everyone.
• Extra pair of glasses or contacts (if necessary), Anticipate dusty conditions
  
• Rain gear
  
• Immunization records and blood type information
  
• Hand sanitizer, over-the-counter medications such as antibiotic cream, bandages, allergy medicine etc.
  
• Any prescription medications for the length of the stay
